The New Canaan 10 Year Old & 12 Year Old All Stars
BOTH went to the World Series!
The 10 Year Olds headed down by plane to Abbeville, Louisiana on Thursday, August 7th and games were played from August 8th through August 15th.

The 11 Year Old Team has won their State Tournament and has placed third in the Regional Event held here in New Canaan.
What an outstanding record we are having this year!
The 12 Year Olds spent a week in July in Cooperstown, where they have made New Canaan very, very proud. They played 7 games without a loss and were seeded into a bracket for tournament play ranking #7. In their first game of the tournament, they played the O'Town Nights from Orlando who had previously won the Regional Title for Little League in the Southeast Region and were heading off to their World Series. Their 10 to 9 occurred with a walk off single in the bottom of the 6th to seal it. They were then officially one of the "Elite Eight" and faced off against the #2 seeded team who were not only undefeated, but had also wracked up high scores against their opponents while holding them to 1 or 2 runs. This game was a tough one from the beginning and we lost 15 to 2 after four innings. But our team should hold its head very high as it was this very opponent that became the final champion for Week 8 at Cooperstown!
