New Canaan Baseball Volunteer Opportunities

New Canaan Baseball is run entirely by volunteers and funded entirely through sponsorships, fundraising, and registration receipts. We rely on volunteers to provide programming for 400-500 children each year.  Our goal is to provide the best possible baseball experience for the youth of New Canaan.  We need volunteers in the following areas:

Team Administration (Team Moms or Dads)

Team administrators provide a vital role in organizing a team for the season. When the teams are formed, please advise the team manager that you would like to assist.  The team mom or dad can help organize uniform distribution, team photos, media commentary and submissions as well as post-game snacks, etc.  Please contact Daren D’Andrea for more details.

Field and Equipment Maintenance

Volunteers are needed to help with the logistical tasks of providing team equipment and making sure all fields have the necessary supplies to conduct games and practices throughout the season.  Please contact Brandon Heagle or Chris Biasotti for more details.

Community

Our Community is a broad area that encompasses league marketing, sponsorships, events, fundraising, team store and overall league communication. This can be a full year or season commitment or it can be just for a couple of events.  Please contact Elle D’Andrea and Leah Kittredge for more details.

League Administration

A volunteer in league administration can help us assist in a number of areas such as logistics, communications, website maintenance, league documentation, etc.  Please contact Brian Rogers or Rob Moore for more information.
